Wow...is this true?
Even if not personally, it is for
someone, right?
SO many have forgotten, and now the
enemy is inside our political system.
If we fall, it will be from within.
I will never forget.
More than ever, even today...
I am appalled that they even dared.
Loved this,
blessings...

True for many, I just stepped in to write it for those who couldn't. I always do this and usually these posts are awarded. We will see this year. Patriotism is in the assault and our country is in the balance. Sending you my best today as always, and many thanks for the shiny patriot's stars!
Your friend,

How could anyone alive and old enough to have memory of the tragedies on that historic day forget. A truly emotion filled monument in words to that infamous day. You handled the piece with both love and respect. Truly a beautiful pen. The pictures and video match your words so well.

It's funny for every tragedy or travesty of justice ever committed, there are many heroes God makes as counterbalances to the evil committed, God is always there to reveal Jesus' face in the form of this young man, and who knows, they may be God's angel Mingling with the human heroes, well done Sally, beautifully written, Blessings Roy

This is a very powerful tribute to one beloved victim. I'm sure all are included in ther speaker's memory. They just may carry the memory for those for whom it is too painful to remember. It is an honor and double edged sword to hold such a memory.

This breaks my heart. I'm glad, though. I want writing about important events to shape how I look at life now. You did a wonderful job of capturing the angst of terrible, hateful acts that took our friends and family.
I knew someone, my age, killed in the Pentagon. She was the sweetest person. She had lost her mom as a teen, so her dad lost a wife and then her.
Thank you, sweet Sally for this:)

There are so many programs on tv today, reminding the public of what happened on 9-11 so people won't forget. Having your character pay tribute to the one who saved her life that day, though he's no longer here, is SO moving and memorable.

Bravo, Sally. I haven't forgotten and never will. Those were the bravest of all--running into the inferno as others were running from it. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. It is a sad commentary on our society that so many refuse to believe it was an act of terrorism that claimed so many decent hard-working first responders. My Grandfather was a fireman, and later Fire Chief for many many years. He would have been right their with his crew. He would have been devastate by the enormous loss of first responders. He wasn't alive then, though.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Like you, I will never forget. Today the picture is as vivid as 19-years ago. The first plane, the second, the black smoke, and the notice of the pentagon adding to lives lost. Yesterday, one-year from the day. I gave CPR, the breastbone popping with every compression. The paramedics arrive to give me break and wipe the sweat from my eyes. Then, they ask for a do-no necessitate order. Once I've handed it to them, they stop and stand. All my efforts are in vain. Helpless as 9-11.

Oh my! Are you doing okay? I assume you are since you are here. It's a terrible feeling to feel helpless and that's now I felt on this day and every time I think about it. But, we had so many act so fearlessly.
Sending you my best today as always and blessings,

Well done, Sis and thanks for reminding us. I will get out a poem I wrote for a contest way back then in relation to that awful day. I am guessing the picture I chose has probably gone. No spags.

This is beautifully written and tells one specific man how grateful is this person who was saved but unable to reach the one who help because he was lost in the fire. No, that person would never forget and most of us who lived through that horrible day, will never forget.
