Carolyn, We never know if or when an opportunity will come our way. Just like the rainbow following a storm, we just don't know. Snowflakes are uncountable, unlike the opportunity. I liked the connection used here to explain.

My son and grandchildren came up last weekend. My daughter came up as well. It was great ! Chaotic and noisy but great. Two grand kids, two puppies, two adult dogs, yikes! What are we crazy? YES!

A contest entry poem--Naani. It followed the requirement of the poem. The comparison of the rainbows and waterfalls with opportunities are close in that the two are lesser than snow flakes and blizzards.

this is an excellent write, Carolyn, I enjoyed reading this poem about the opportunities that are left unseen because of the way we see the things around them instead of the truth of what they really are. I know what I'm trying to say but can't get it out right. I am in a lot of pain right now and I am just praying for my medication to kick in and work. I have arthritis and bursitis in both shoulders. I was almost in tears trying to get up to go to the bathroom
