It is satire so glad you found it funny. But soooooooooo sorry I upset you. It is what it is! LOL As I wrote in my notes, I am NOT going to let Larry read this one. Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
I think you did a top notch job in writing this Lunaticka poem. Maybe I'll try my hand on it one day. What you say in it is true. Men can't seem to handle any kind of sickness like us women. LOL

So glad you enjoyed this one Kat. I seem to have struck a common thread here with us women. :-) Even the men have enjoyed it. Carolyn

This certainly is the truth, notesandmore. However, I've seen the opposite when something really serious comes along. That's when men are very brave. That's when they act like it's nothing. This is well said.

Have to have a little fun and add a bit of 'satire', you are right, I always lean on Larry's strength. (Just not when he has a cold. LOL) April, hope you are having a great day, Carolyn

That is a question women have asked for years. Men or worst than little children when they are 'sick'. You've hit the nail right on the head. This is an excellent contest entry. The picture is a definite plus.
Good luck.

I like the poem. I have seen many women claim to have a little cold but then have the "terminal illness." I would have to say that men get the "terminal illness" to avoid having to work. Yup I am sick, means no work for me today. That may not be the case for everyone but that is how it works

notes and more,
Yes, very true. Personally, I complain all the way through! Totally nailed this within the conformity of assigned poem structure. Great work!
