An excellent 5-7-5, and I like the meaningful and well-chosen image to accompany it. I think young people could also benefit by this wisdom - that love isn't "found", but rather is built by hard work and ongoing effort so that it will indeed endure. Well said. Best wishes for your entry.

So true. Young love is full of passion and romance but when you are lucky enough to age together, that love changes, matures as we mature. It doesn't lessen it just changes. Beautifully said in your 5-7-5 poem.

I guess one could say, love takes many forms, but really there's only one kind of love that stands out, and it doesn't necessarily opens the emotions, the unconditional kind, my wife and I have been together for fifty four years. That's this kind, beautifuly written, blessings Roy
