Hi Janet, hahaha! I loved what you said about that is what family and God are for. I am laughing because I had just told someone that I didn't use children in my poem because sometimes I need to find a bright side when they try to tell me what they think I should do and act like the mom. Lol. And that isn't too often tho.

What a sunny, bright, positive and delightful poem! I loved it. I liked every verse, but my favorite is perhaps this one:
"To have some loyal, caring friends
Close on your team or squad
A prayerful heart whose kindness mends
Helps you stay close to God"

This is a great poem with a message we should all take to heart. Life is so much more worthwhile when we are not having a pity party. but counting our blessings and looking for the bright side. I have you on my list. Since I have been doing these birthday poems for my good friends here, I have noticed how much of a bright side for me to do them. When I hear someone smile (LOL, yes, I can hear smiles. Haha) I smile to days after, so I am so blessed myself by the thought of making someone else's day. Thank you for sharing this with us. I agree. We should look for our bright side. We are in charge of us, and we can choose to be happy or choose to be sad. Yes, sad things happen, but we can find a good in it.
