Debi -

Now, I'm not sure I'm laughing -
I don't know the gal that well...
But I'd be photographing
when your Karenina fell.

Do you say you weren't a witness?
Well, that's a crying shame -
ol' Tik Toc of that video
would bring you lots of fame. (*giggle*)

Just kidding, Karenina -- please heal fast and well! Joining others in prayer for your quick recovery. (OUCH!)

Hi Dawn, I have seen where tic top has been posting more things like that, which brings us back to a slap stick comedy. At least we can't say that it is just nowadays. Lol, enter in 'the Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy" etc... I thank you for your kind review and comments for my poem, Karenina.
I sure appreciate it my friend

Oh gosh that's terrible. Give her our well wishes. Prayer already sent up for a quick recovery.

Had to chuckle at your cone comment.

Thanks for sharing this with the FS family. God bless!

Hopefully for K. it doesn't only hurt when she laughs because reading this would be bad for her health. (I can't believe you went for the 'humerus' joke, Debi; you have NO shame! Tsk, tsk on you.)

You've been so generous this week, taking great care of your FS loved ones. This tribute is a gem.

Well, dang. This isn't good at all. I hope she makes a full and speedy recovery. I'm afraid the older we get the more of a fall risk we become. This was a cute poem and I have come to expect no less from you. Always a pleasure to read your work. And I will send positive thoughts and prayers her way. Thank you for letting us know. Gretchen

Debi
It is so nice of you to write these poems for the victims and the writers and friends here. It is true that humor makes things better and may even make things heal quicker. I know how it is to scoot, because and had to scoot on my butt down stairs at my house when I broke my ankle the summer between 7th and 8th grade.
I like the pun with humerus and humorous.
I hope she heals fast and you can go back to being Thelma and Louise.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

For your friend, I post this letter
with heartfelt wishes that she get better
We understand the pain she feels
And hope she rests while her body heals.

Oh I didn't hear about this. Sure will pray for my friend; someone whose work I admire very much and who has supported me so much in the past. Accidents will happen. Hopefully she can make a complete recovery from this one. estory

Debi, thank you for posting this about Karenina. I am sure she will be okay. But I am thinking she could have made up a better story than falling down the stairs with a shop vac. After all she is a writer.

She could have been doing the hokey pokey. She could have entered the senior Olympics in the high jump. She could have been kicking the butts of those folks who hacked her!

But hindsight is always better than foresight...hence the shop vac and the stairs.

Heal quickly your team needs you! Terry.

Lol, that's what I told her, and she laughed and had some great hokey Pokey saying, but darn can get think of it right now. But this is what I wrote back. :

put your right foot down, then your left foot down
and continued this, till both feet are on the ground
It's a little bit more pokey, but your hokey's safe and sound
    That's what it's all about!

Thanks for the great review my dear friend.. She will love it too

Thanks for the notice, Debi. My prayer will be forthcoming. I have told my wife that I don't want her on the stairs with anything in her hand. When we built our two-story house, we were younger. We probably should have looked ahead.
