This creative poem conveys a delightful message by naming a wide range of things that bring a smile. It also makes the point that focusing on what we like keeps us from overthinking about what bugs us.

A fun post.
I love your redux panda bear! For me, the cadence of Julie Andrew's famous song is not quite there all of the time. It comes and goes a bit.
(I take your point - Julie Andrews ... I am not!)
Anyway, continue to reflect on your favorite things and don't let it all get under your skin.

(I don't think you need to repeat the stanzas).
Your poem follows the rhythm of the original song quite well while introducing readers to some of your favourites, which cover many things including nature, fishing, possessions, Christmas, and children.
I particularly liked the peaceful feeling imparted by the chorus:
When I'm too tired
When my ears ring
When my world spins
It's nice to reflect on my favorite things
then things don't get under my skin.

This could serve as a newer and more modern version of a song that is a classic. It is one of my holiday songs. I found myself singing aloud the lyrics. I am now inspired to try my hand at this challenge. Thank you for the inspiration.

The author's words are interesting, descriptive, rewarding, calming
and creative. I enjoyed the read of this poem. Yes, I agree with the
author taking time to do some of my favorite things can be calming.
Great reminder - thank you! The artwork is great and made me smile.

This is a good try at a rewrite of the song 'My Favorite Things' from "The Sound of Music. It shows that some of your favorite things match mine.
Some of the lines don't match the melody but it comes close.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay heatlhy

I like how random your favourite things are I this piece, because I think that's the spirit of the song - enjoying the little things, the big things, and any things that make us smile. I very much enjoyed the read :-)
