Diane, this is a magnificent journey with you to learn and hear of the denizens of Miller's Pond.
I connect with your sentiment to just stay inside closed away from nature, but once the birds start chirping it is a very easy choice.
Your publishing is superb, with just the right photographic choices to enhance each sections.
Terrific work here. I love the embedded soundtrack too.
Best to you always,
Gloria

Hello, Gloria!
I was hoping you'd stop by!
I am thrilled that my poem resonated so well with you; it was such a joy to pen!
But we were slammed with an ice storm last night and through today = no walks to anywhere! Instead, I spent my day spring cleaning. (Always the optimist!)
Hoping you are doing well!
Thank you, again!

Hello, Janet!
Well, the two of us would have been hard-pressed to venture anywhere today = ice storm! But we can dream!
Thank you for your exceptional rating and complimentary review!

This lovely, vividly descriptive poem takes the reader on a long, leisurely stroll through nature to give our senses, our being, a break from our shuttered windows and closed doors.

How wonderful is our God. How fortunate are you to have such an array of His creatures close by. I love birds and all animals except snakes! Your presentation was amazing (must have taken forever) I enjoyed the bird chatter too. Well done. Blessings, K xx

What a magnificent piece of writing. Thank you for sharing in word and photo your excursion to Miller's Pond. You have described so vividly, not only your own feelings and reactions, but the bird and animal life, their thoughts and reactions, the pond itself ... everything. An amazing work. Congratulations.

And what a beautiful and revivifying part of the world that must be - an inspiring stream-of-consciousness quality to these words inviting the reader to share the experience - poetry that comes from the heart !

In my opinion - oh, my goodness, what a truly beautiful write - Six Stars are simply not enough for this one. I enjoyed my read immensely, words and imagery - I was totally captivated. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible free verse. I hope you are continuing to submit your works for publication, and not self publishers, but major publishing houses...

What a joyful review, Eve!
I am honored by your exceptional rating and thoughtful review.
Such a gorgeous time of the year is spring in Michigan. Alas! Last evening and through most of today, we experienced an ice storm. Thank goodness, no daffodils or other early perennials were poking out their noses!
And thank you for the nod to publishing. Still hoping to do so...Perhaps when life slows down a bit... :)
Thank you again, Eve!

You are so welcome, Diane, and I agree - springtime in the East is extraordinary - in Toronto, Canada, New York, Pennsylvania and Montana, too. But for winter's climate, New York would have been my forever home, but, for year round climate, California has no mainland equal, so, it is my forever home. I often reminisce, however, about the east coast and its springtime. Your gorgeous poem was a perfect nostalgic measure. Thank you again for sharing...Eve

Hello Diane,
I've been wondering where you were. I'm so glad that you've shown with a fine poem and illustrations and event the sounds of that rowdy bluejay. We don't have bluejays here, but down in Southeast there were Stellar Jays, which I think are bigger and have black heads. They're just as obnoxious and noisy though. I see the pictures are from several seasons. What a delight to be able to get out in nature. Thanks for sharing with us.
Have a blessed day.

Hello, Tom!
Life has been a bit unsettled lately; we just returned from a rather lengthy trip to Colorado to be with our son and grandson...
No bluejays?
Inconceivable! :)
So pleased you enjoyed!
The photographs = spring. But we had a doozy of an ice storm last night and today! No walking anywhere!
Take Care!
