Thank you. Yes, I often wonder how that kitten happened to be in that place at that exact time. It was the middle of nowhere and I never saw any adult cats in that area.

That was an Angel, I just finished my manuscript, and there is a story about a cat. The night before my infant sister died, a white cat came into my bedroom. The next morning, she had died during the night. So, I believe in angels.

Thank you. It was the saddest event in my life. I lost a child before Roy, and that was bad, but this almost killed me. The kitten did save my life and she lived with me for over twenty years until she passed away. Thanks for the six stars and kind thoughts. Hugs to you.

Thank you. I think you are right, it wasn't my time yet even if i wanted to go. What were the odds of a kitten being in that place at that exact time? I have thought of this a lot over the years.

Thank you for reading and commenting. That tiny bit of life definitely saved mine. She needed me so I had to stay. Roy would have known I couldn't abandon a kitten. He loved cats as much as I do.

Your story was wonderful, but sad. I can not imagine the grief of losing a child, losing a loved one is tragic enough. Although, grieving never ends, the outcome of your tale reveals that someone beyond this Universe is watching over you. GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST.

That the little kitten was like Roy's Iggy, tells me he wanted you to live. The pain of loss will never completely go, but you know he is in good hands, and so is this little kitty who needed you. Thank you. Yes, it was hard to explain the feeling. What are the odds that the kitten would be in that exact place at that exact time? I have thought about it a lot over the years. The kitten was with me for over twenty years.
