You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this warm,
delightful tribute to your mother-in-law. The more people we have to share our love, the better we are, the better life is.

This grandmother's delight in the world around her sows through in both the words and the picture. It is a true blessing to have a woman of this caliber pass through your life.

We are all lucky for those who just seem to fight their way through most anything and can still keep their sense of humor. It takes a special person not to fold to adversity. Thanks for sharing.

That face says it all. You just know that is a person you'd love to know better. She has fun and acceptance written all over her. You were very lucky to been taken under her wing. This could be a picture of my favorite aunt. They look like twins. I love your haiku as well as what you've written about this lady

Your poem about your husband's grandmother fits in with how I felt about my sister. I understand perfectly what you mean. There are such lovely people in this world who keep us enthralled with every little thing they do.
It's good to remember. Stay safe Sally, blessings to you.

Those laugh lines on her face brings the picture to life for it shows the heart of a grand lady, Sally. I'm glad you got to meet her and her in loving you. Sometimes, the secrets they held are spoken in whispers but with great love. This is a good offering for the Haiku poetry contest.

What a wonderful and witty haiku, although I thought haikus were supposed to be about the natural world. This one seems more like a senryu. However, I did find it witty and charming, and I really like both the photo and video you put with it.

This is a lovely tribute to your mother-in-law. It sound like she loved you and watched over both of you. Her words to your heart could also be the words from the title song Every Breath You Take. She still watched over you. The images you describe will draw the reader in. Some will be able to identify. Nicely expressed.
