LOL! What a mean thing to do. You deserved what you got. Yuck. But Trumby told us all about eating grubs with the aborigines in Australia, so maybe it's an acquired taste. I'd rather not find out. :)

We ate grubs during training years ago. I just swallowed them whole and chased them with canteen water. I opened a can of baby shrimp once and noted they looked like grubs.

Lol. I was going to say, do grubs really taste like shrimp? I had visions of something more dried and crispy, not something that could bite. Fun story. I guess I need more fishing experience.

EEEEwww yugh! Oh my goodness, my tummy just rolled over about a dozen times. It is a great story, but I am squeamish about anything that doesn't have legs. You are really an accomplished writer and knit these stories together artfully. Only next time...a warning label...lol

It was a well conveyed story with sound grammatical footing and structure. The story itself overall was a fun, quick read. It did at times feel a bit rigid in its approach. Regardless, I found it enjoyable.
