Loved the picture. Cc is my kind of boy, love that he doesn't stare at a computer all day. The rhyming scheme makes the poem flow well. I love 'He'll slick his hair like a woodpecker's crest'. MaggieF

This should be a very successful book, Wendy.
It has all the elements kids enjoy: good rhyming, a well rhymed, funny story, and the illustrations are perfect.
The language used is simple enough for kids to read, comprehend, and enjoy.
Even big kids like me!

But you do have me confused (not that hard to do usually) The poem does rhyme, with a precise ABab, CDcd all the way through. - Wendy

Oh this is cute, Wendy. I love that it encourages children to pretend and make believe, and to get off the computer and video games for a while.

It's written in a very kid-friendly manner. The name alone (Christopher Crumbly) makes you want to laugh. Visions of him growling and barking with slicked back hair is just the sort of things that kids love (adults too!).

A very well-written fun poem for children. Christopher caws like a crow, growl like a puppy. Swimming round in circles in the swimming pool. He don't need an i-pad he is a clever boy.
