Very cute and entertaining children's poem. I loved it. It told a very happy story about making friends. How the helped each other and formed a close bond. Everyone needs someone, even animals. Any child or adult can relate the message of your poem. And it would be a great teacher poem for a child, giving them insight on making friends with others. Well written, with complementing words and rhyme.

This is so sweet. Children can learn that nurturing is a good thing.
Wally being a boy shows that it is a natural thing for boys to do.
He's not alone all because he cared.

Fine rhyme and even tempo make this a lovely poem.

Thank you so much. What nice comments. I hadn't thought about it being from a boy's slant. I guess because I have sons. Thank you for pointing that out. I think in his other stories, you'll see that he's a pretty nice little guy. At least, I hope so.

How fun! Another Wally Weasel and this time he finds a pet. Very cute story-poem, well thought out, well put together.It's also full of learning for little ones who may have never heard of an armadillo. Yesterday on Netflix I watched a wildlife documentary. I can't remember what kind of animal it was but he had a trail he had to go on everyday in search of food and one of his predators was the weasel.
(I thought of YOU!) This is beautifully laid out as well. You do know the "T" to they is left on a line by itself? Talk later. Marcia
