This was a pleasure to read and it is one that transcends the reader group. I feel that this is funny for adults and just at the right length and word count to capture and keep a young reader's attention. It has a plot and a moral, which makes it a cut above.

Why, thank you! I don't know what to say. Wonderful review with 6 stars!
I'm so glad you like Wally. He's quite a little guy, and will be doing some new things soon.
You have made my day! 8-)

This is good for Wally to do other things. Learning to do sporting things is a good idea. He is a smart little season that learns easily so learning to ski might have been a little risky. But lo and behold there he is flying down the slopes laughing and having fun.
This is a fun read that flows easily and has a great unforced rhyme scheme. Well done my friend,,,,,,,,Jim

Hello Damommy,
Fall down, get laughed at, laugh along, get up and try again. What a wonderful lesson to teach children through a cute (and rather severe-looking) weasel, lol.
Great poem, lighthearted but with a very important message in the story.
Thanks for sharing and write on,
Lana

My, but he does look so determined in the picture!
Great story, damommy. Willie sets a good example for children. Keep trying and with practice you'll succeed.
I really enjoyed the rhyme and even meter in this one.

Thank you. I don't know why he looks so stern this time. I'll have to see about that.
Thank you for a lovely review. 8-)

This story poetry style is very enlightening to read. Your character sets a quality of determination to get it right and achieve it by keep practicing. What a life's lesson for any age reader to pick up from this piece. I love your rhyming patterns which make it a nice flow. Your details of the setting, himself, and describing what he needs to do in order to ski right are sharp for any age reader to follow as if the reader as right at the scene. Your writing has all five elements of story telling which is excellent. Your character has a internal and external conflict, but in the end he resolved them all. Fun story poetry to read. Best.

Yvonne,
I looks like you have done it again. This is the most adorable tale
you have written. Wally weasel skiing. LOL This poem has such a
nice rhythm and rhyme, fun images within and wit too.
I loved each and every line. So enjoyable to read and imagine this
scene. It seems you had fun composing this too.

That's really charming. You create lovely, funny children stories. I'm sure they enjoy them very much. The altered spellings are charming. I hope you have decided to never grow up, as I have.

Oh, that's a given. I always tell everyone that I'm a prime example that age and maturity do not necessarily go hand in hand. I'm gonna stay about 8 years old. LOL
I'm so glad you like the Wally stories. Thank you for this great review. 8-)

You're very welcome. Eight is perfect! I wrote and illustrated one myself. Called "Let Me See What I Could Be". On Amazon. Wish it would sell more.

I know what you mean. It's a touch market. I wish you luck. 8-)

So charming. You have such a way of writing Yvonne, that endears your little characters to the reader. I just want to take them home and make them happy!
The rhyming is outstanding considering the length and storyline within.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I'm so happy you like the story. I'm thinking about retiring Wally. What do you think?
Is it too short or too long?
Thanks, again. 8-)

nnnnnoooooo! I love Wally, just get him a few friends...that way you can still enter him in their poems every now and then, while creating new characters :)
-
Not too long, loved the story!

Yes, I've already started on that. Thank you for your help. 8-)
