This is an excellent poem which id absolutely thought provoking as well. this "infinity
is the world I'm in

wondering--

what's in the
vicinity beyond" makes one really think hard.
Well done indeed with an great piece.

this is an excellent write, Michael, the arrogance of youth is lost in the prison of age, but I would rather have the prison of age than the stupidity that reigned when I was younger.

Hey mikey,
It's been awhile. Love your interpretation on imprisonment. Yes as youth we are fearless and those memories keep its going. Thanks for sharing God bless

Yeah, I suppose you get all different kinds of prisons. They are also not always physical. Good job. Mikey, what's up? You been so quiet lately.
Take care.
Christelle.

Just absent. My wife broke her foot on top of everything else and has made me her slave which I totally deserve. :)
I shouldn't be posting since I have no time to review, but I couldn't resist sneaking one in. Loving your story which I sneak in and read. I'll try and get some reviews in tomorrow. mikey

Very poetic and "deep"... the sort I have trouble fathoming, but I do get the gist of this one. I think all of us old folks can relate. Our best memories are of youth... if only we could appreciate those days more instead of looking toward the future, which at some point will be nothing more than wishing for the past.

Loved the pan flute story and I'm waiting for mine in the mail. At first I didn't know what song you were speaking of as I only know it by the Spanish name. Then I HEARD it and AH HA! Oh yeah, that song. Beautiful. Well, that should be part of a review. mikey

Glad you liked the piece. We got our panflute and my hubby can make it work... I can't blow well enough. He's practicing. :)

I like your Free verse-A Treatise On Human Imprisonment
you did a nice job with the presentation. I like the picture, the white font against the black background color. Good job!
