Carolyn; a very effective metaphorically descriptive and exquisitely expressive imprint of a very resourceful imagery. I complement you on a very well written lune piece of poetry. Good luck in the contest for this is a very excellent piece of writing. And thank you for sharing and posting and may you have a very Merry Christmas.

Your poem is paired well with the artwork and is in excellent 5/3/5 syllable count for the Lune
Master's palette - add apostrophe for possessive
lovely detail of setting with a strong spiritual component

A nice entry to the contest I think my friend. The picture reminds me of something we used to see in the 60s and 70s LOL. I do not really understand this form of poetry but I find it interesting. Good luck in the contest. Cheers Fez

Thanks Fez, since it is such a 'brief' piece of poetry, much thought must go into it to make sense of so few words. I am glad you enjoyed it. Yes that is a wild scene. LOL Carolyn

It seems I'm getting more forgetful every day. I'm ready to say something to someone and it flits away before I can say it. Then I try to explain what I was going to say and I just can't find the words to do it. It's starting to really bother me.

Hi, Carolyn,
Beautiful artwork with your Lune, as well as formatting. Nicely presented.
You're right, the painted desert is awesome.
At my son't wedding, they did a sand ceremony where we parents participated by mixing our sand with Sabrina's parents' sand, and then all sand was mixed in with Allen and Sabrina's.
The sand of time. Beautiful job with this one.
*Happy Holidays* OR *Happy Hanukkah*
Cheers & Blessings

Hi Jax, what a neat thing to do at a wedding. I have seen the unity candle used many times but I like the sand idea, especially for the area you live in. Awesome,
Happy Holidays to you too dear lady,
:-) Carolyn

Hi there Roy,
yes I have been a bit scarce. This is such a busy time for us as I am sure it is for everyone. The world of Art competes with my world of writing. :-) I love both but I must admit, my Art pays lots more. LOL , so I must devote some time to it. So glad you enjoyed this one. The contest sometimes kick me into gear. God gets all the credit.
Happy holidays from Larry and me. Love, Carolyn

I didn't know about the art? Sounds a bit like my music! Roy
