Thank you so much. I needed to read these words. So heartfelt and beautifully put. Nothing maudlin and almost as though he were whispering in your ear. That last line and image is what will comfort me and let me laugh out loud again. He's okay now! NG

solid rhyming couplets in this moving tribute
good alliteration in phrases like stole my smile and know I need
and consonance in phrases like blame my humanity to make
love the humorous passage about those in Heaven
followed by the moving passage about no dark hands
You have my eyes welling up with the closing - this is a stunning tribute - you should find a way to send it to his family

What was worse than hearing of his death, was the reason why. He was a great actor comedienne but in the end, he was just a man.
Well done, Buck

Nice picture of Robin rallying the troops. He may be smiling down on us right now, thinking of a joke? The joke is on us, he's in heaven, we're in hell -- it seems. He did his lovejoy, rewarding us with happiness with his no-so-lame jokes. he would be proud of this salute to him. After all, he saluted us in life. His everlasting reward. Poem has compassion of Robin Williams. Good morning -- Vietnam! Hi s voice will never be silenced or forgotten. cheers...

What a fantastic tribute. Your poem made me smile and yet brought tears to my eyes. I think this is a perfect poetic expression of affection for a wonderful man who will be sadly missed. Best of luck in the contest.
