Thanks for entering, mystery writer, but you have NOT FOLLOWED A CLEAR CONTEST RULE, in that entries MUST NOT be promoted with site certificates UNTIL AFTER the result is announced. You have promoted this to '47 cents'.

Please check with Tom, via 'info' in the fanstory toolbar, on how to withdraw from the contest (though it will STILL be on 'general' release), as this entry is CLEARLY not eligible. There is still 27 hours til the booth opens.

I have rated your excellent write as 'one' purely on this, and not the content.

Please advise me when you've withdrawn it, and I'll be very happy to up-rate to 'excellent'.

Sorry about that, but I have to be fair to the entrants who have followed the rules.

I have already notified Tom with my apologies, I have no idea when he will respond but I am sure he will get right on it. Ted, I have promoted (by habit) in the past, are all of the prompts this way, if so then I have violated before, (maybe that's why I haven't won much LOL)

It's fine to promote posts in contests, so long as there aren't any rules, as here, which say you can't. I think I'm the only member that sometimes includes that rule. :-) Cheers, Ted xx

I was born in Missouri and spent part of my childhood there, but I have never been to Saint Louis. It must be awesome to see. your poem meets the qualifications specified as far as I can see. It has nice rhyme and meter.

Thank you for this great review. The Arch was completed in mid '60s. It is such an awesome sight. The grounds have been re-done and are absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully you can return someday.

Beautifully written, an excellent contest entry. I was lucky enough to see this amazing arch; once while at a convention in Kansas City in 2005 and again 2012 while on my way from Springfield, Illinois. St. Louis is very beautiful. Best of luck in the contest,.
