A beautifully orchestrated voyage
of destiny, two souls starting
on a journey uncertain, no equipment,
only a longing searching for the
horizon where lies what they
are seeking, true love.
Your words on this voyage of
exploration artistically and
poetically produced
Well done

You are so on the money. There has to be more than luck involved. It is a pretty big world with a lot of people in it. Thank you so much, mikey

WOW.

A very deep poem by one of my favorite poets.

"-beginnings-

an empty sea of longing

yours

mine"

The sea, as opposed to the ocean, has known boundaries, and thus can signify the known quantities of life.

"to fathom tides and the clever toying of the moon

smiling and making the stars giggle"

love your use of personification there, Mikey. very effective.

stars- the presence of hope

my favorite lines:

" a kiss awakens a sleeping princess

a frog the handsome prince through adoring eyes

a jolly laugh slips a child's hope down a narrow chimney

faith transforms the stiffest wood to leaping life"

the existence of fairytales..portraying innocence, perhaps?

beautiful write

hugs

Amanda

Hi Amanda. I was about to send a rescue party!! I am glad you liked this. I actually like this one myself. I can't get the editor to work so, I can't make it look too pretty. But, the words are there anyway. A wonderful review, thank you so much, mikey

I thought it was effective in its present form. It signified pauses in the development of the person involved. Your imagery and use of language were good, in order to convey your message. It was an enjoyable read. Faye

I am so pleased you enjoyed it. Just some problems with the editor. It isn't working with my computer. So, I can't do anything with fonts or color. Well, as long as the words are there and you enjoyed them. Thank you, mikey

Ah, this is an interesting poem allying thoughts and qualities of love with the ocean's nature. You carried this off well, and the loveliness of this lingers after the reading of it. Very nicely done.

I know it is probably metaphorically in this poem, but I love the ocean, although it scares me. Love is probably like that too. Thanks for sharing another gem.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Deeply moving poem about two people from different view points trying to make sense of their lives and how they may or may not intertwine.

I love the first stanza. It really speaks to me. Reminds me of past relationships.

an abyss embracing separate sorrows unconnected - so sad

faith transforms the stiffest wood to leaping life - love the imagery

-destiny-
in the deepest and most wide ocean
two souls entered the water
they sought only love
the most perfect love in the universe
they found it - so hopeful, I think this is my favorite stanza.

Nichola
