It's hard to critique these short poems.. I should say an uphill battle,
It is a beautiful picture.
Thank you and God bless

Tritely astute write,
Whose subtle flow of wit might
set the world upright !!
- Carolyn, dear friend, how do you like my latest forte - imparting "poetic reviews" ? Funny - isn't it ? LOL .... And ... Oh ! I better hasten now, my Lady ! - Got an exam to sit for yet again tomorrow ! :)

I think you have replied in a most appropriate 5-7-5 manner. And, I might add, very complimentary to the poem. Thank you for taking time in your busy schedule to read and review. :-)Carolyn

Ah ! - Returned home just now, Carolyn .... had a triumphant examination ( all by grace of your benediction, of course ! ....)
And here I find now your courteous reply ..... Oh ! what a splendid day I'm having indeed ! - I'm overwhelmed ! - and know not how to thank you in words .... I guess, you're way , way above these mere formal offices of trivial courtesy .... you're someone highly unique - an exalted Lady of refined sensibility.
Accept my pliable respect, Madam, as I herein end for now ... I shall be seeing you again very shortly - Adieu.
:)

You are so right, we may have 'whirling' falls instead of 'falling' falls. LOL Thanks for the fun review. Carolyn

You brought up a great point. Something that I had never in my lifetime, thought about. Water can flow north and south, east and west but never up hill. This is a very creative thought provoking piece of poetry. The artwork chosen is perfect for this poem. Well done,,,,,,,Jim

I rated this a six, Carolyn, simply because it made me smile.
I have read that water flows both north and south at the equator. Also that one of the planets twirls counter clockwise, while the other six twirls clockwise.
Y'all have a blessed Week-end -Your Friend, Jerry
PS How did Red do with his tests?

I loved this and the picture is perfect with the verse. I just can't get over what a really gifted person can say in a few well chosen words. This was such a peaceful statement filled with personal inspiration for me. I truly enjoyed reading it and am so grateful to be able to share it with you.

The photo is marvelous of the waterfall. We have a few in Jersey, but not that large, and they don't go uphill.
My interpretation is that a waterfall is a constant. Cannot be changed. Unlike I'm life, when one has that ability, to change direction and make amends.
Nicely done Carolyn ... John

I enjoyed your brief poem, especially the last line which invited this reader to ponder upon deeper meanings beneath the water. Just my impressions. Nicely done and I've no suggestions.
