You are on a journey of re-self-discovery at the end of this year but it goes on, doesn't it? On to new days, new challenges, new goals, new plans...yet, how much control do we have over these goals and plans? I am a planner myself so I need to take time every so often to remind myself of the need to let some things fall into place by themselves. Since a serious event came into my life some many years ago, I have come to realize that it is good to plan and it is good also to ask for help in times of need...and to give help to others as I read you are dedicated to do as well. I think your written piece is wonderful and thank you for sharing. I also wish you true wonders on your 2012 journey in life...blessings to you! Coralie

This is very well written
with a smooth flow of words making for an easy read
This is the time of year for reflection of past events
Thinking could we have done thing differently
Would we change anything
The answer is always maybe
we should have been kinder
Listened more
took control of events
But most of all we hope we were kind and considerate to all
especially those we care about
This was a thought provoking write
Well done

Thank you for this lovely, thoughtful and inspiring piece. As I read your fine words I did think about last year, and what I can do better this new and coming year. I am always thankful to God for past present and the future blessings he has in store for me and others in the New Year. Am I willing to plan? Am I willing to change? Am I satisfied? These are good questions you brought up for me to ponder. I like the art work with the writing. Thanks for sharing your time and talent. Poet Star

this is very well wirtten, debbie, a great job writing this story about the way you reflect over the year and see where you need to set attainable goals to change what needs changing and be proud of the ones you have accomplished.

Year-end musings indeed! A very thoughtful piece of work in which I see a subconscious desire to search the inner self. A reflective mood effectively conveyed with a smooth flow of language and a dose of poetic sounds. Good show!
