Congratulations on your milestone post! I enjoyed your entertaining take on Christmas, and I particularly liked that the little boy had some carrots for the reindeer, well and Santa too of course. Maybe he has a juicer.

Well, this piece could be a Golden Book reader for kids under six. Well done. I would think they find it fun, as well as a warning to sleep tight at night on Christmas Eve.

Santa handled the situation cleverly with the boy upstairs who wanted to see Santa so he told the boy to close his eyes and dream the magic only works when unseen. I love the solution to the dilemma all the Santas face in this world.

This is a very nice Christmas poem. Perfect for the holiday season. I found that most of the lines flowed well, and the end rhymes worked with carrying the story forward. I would recommend checking out the few lines where the rhyme strays. Just to be consistent.

Turn around and tiptoe down the stairs again?
Scribbled messages and directions for him to go upstairs,
They made Santa chuckle as he read the words,
So up the stairs Santa crept, total silence as the household slept, (you break this last line in two.)

This reminds me of the time when I was only seven years old, and the night of Christmas Eve, and I decided to see if I could meet and catch out Santa, but I was bitterly disappointed, my dad came in at about 1-2 am with a sack of toys, mmh, I'm not sure it's wise to catch the man in the red suit, beautifully written and imaginative, well done BeeJay.
