I've always been prepared along with Elaine to adopt in an eye blink our grandchildren if something happened to the parents...God forbid, so to hear of it actually happening is moving. Gretchen, yes, I had to share a bit of Nomi's service time as I loved that story about when 66 times this sergeant had been charged but nobody would testify because he threatened or used his son to make them feel bad. It was one of my favorite stories from the interview i did with Nomi in September of 2022.
