I like your 3/6/9 poem- good picture presentation- good word count - telling the story of so many homeless veterans- some currently being evicted from shelter assistance by illegal aliens to provide for their needs first- back on ' cold barren streets'- good job- AP

There are too many vets on the streets. Many of their own accord. Whyis the biggest questionthat they are there, not how do we take care of them? Surely, some are mentally incapable of recovery, but the tens of thousand??? There must be more to it.

Thank you Tom, yes, there must be something that can be done for those who truly need and want help, even those that cannot help themselves, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

Great poem! You have chosen an important theme and compelled the reader to think and realise how these lives offered so willingly have been destroyed, both by their war experiences and by the uncaring neglect they now receive. Your poem is a sad one but an important voice speaking for them. Best wishes for your entry.

A subject not to be ignored so thank you for choosing to write about our veterans in need. They need care and professional assistance to heal what has been broken.

An evocative verse concerning war's collateral damage. This is achieved well in a disciplined form and speaks poignantly of what is left behind for so many people who have suffered the horrors of war. Your verse has the addition of rhyming helping to create a cohesiveness and flow to your poem. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
