Your merry go round style seemed just made for
these wonderful birthday greetings/tributes, Debi.
I enjoyed reading this one and learned much about
Papa Mike. Your words painted a great picture of him
both as an awesome writer and individual. I knew very
little about him, but now I can't say that any more. I didn't
know about his family. Thank goodness he was there to
support his beloved wife through her health issues. I know
he will treasure your poem.

I'm glad to read a birthday wish for Papa Mike. I've enjoyed reading his Christian themed, inspirational stories. Love Papa Mike and your poem is a wonderful birthday tribute that captures how well loved he is. I wasn't aware he is a retired English teacher but I am not surprised.. You have a smooth flow of words and lines that create warm feelings and birthday wishes. April and May are big birthday months.

Tomorrow I am posting one called the Birth of the Merry~go~Rhyme. It tells how it started when Sally did a Circus poem for me, and then I wrote some that were fun and not bad, but not my style. I really want you to read one for your girls too, it is called Spectacular Owl. I will send you a link. I think you will all enjoy it, and it is my version of Sally's Circus poems and why I ventured out on my own. No need to review. But tomorrow Sally is going to also repost her first Circus poem at the same time that I do mine. Then you will understand. Lol, I am sure none of that made any sense but you will get it tomorrow.
