Very interesting poem. Technically it has all the elements of a rhyme royal. The iambic pentameter structure makes it a rhythmic poem, enjoyable to read. Very well written!!

Great job on a difficult poetry form! You captured the story of Camille well...perfect art choice! I'd try the form...but I'm allergic to iambic pentameter.

the Camille I muse about is the classical Camille, who was the mistress of Claude Monet.

This poem, Unfettered, describes the post-affair state that exists for the looky-loos to witness and report back to the nation. Holding up to the scrutiny will build back what has been temporarily supressed.

I am guessing that you write about the classical Camille, who was the mistress of Claude Monet?
Good, fast-moving but smooth verses, and a great picture to set the mood! Liked the pose, that provocative look, and her hands apparently holding up her beasts.
