From the image you chose down to your last word, this was a delightful journey through a fun poem! Just as you extoll the ingredients to the hash, you also extoll many ingredients of poetry. Juxtaposing both of those things seamlessly together heightens this little poem into an even more brilliant writing. Excellent job!

Smiling back with thanks!

You have followed the rules and written a funny and clever little poem. I thought it was impressive that you could do all this with only five lines in your poem. It always takes me much longer to arrive. ;p Good luck in the contest. MM

Love ð??? it. My mouth began watering as I inhaled the aroma of scrambled eggs and hash. It felt like the poet was invited to sing the rhyming poem with a melodic sound to it. I hope the stash been hidden includes a stack of blueberry pancakes. Humorous and enjoyed the Tricky rhyme. Good luck

I think you took the prompt in a fun direction. I could picture a guy cooking up some breakfast at a diner or in his home. Good luck in the contest! :)

This is one of the harder types of contests to negotiate. Mono rhyme in this contest has to be a common one consistent with the rules, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

This poem follows the contest rules well while being witty describing the making of breakfast. It seems from the artwork in is on a British Naval ship.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Hi Joan, I do believe it is a galley onboard a ship.

That's what HMS means. Her Majesty's Service, the British version of USS for American Navy Ships.

You used those words well. And I like the picture. My deceased husband loved cooking breakfast. He could cook a great breakfast. Breakfast was his favourite meal of the day. Thank you for sharing.

That was indeed a tricky challenge, and you nailed it! It didn't sound awkward at all. Thank you for sharing this poem here, and best wishes to you.

This is just so fun for the, shall I dare to say, most unusual prompt ever! You did a great job, mystery poet, and the end rhymes are perfection. So well presented too. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest,
Sally Law :))

I enjoyed your fun contest entry, Mystery Author. You told
a great little story using the required words and rhymes. I'm
wondering if it was allowed to add 's' to the word orange. Your
picture paired perfectly with your words.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan
