No offense taken, quite the opposite I laughed the whole
way through. I am going through a tough personal time, and
this was a welcomed distraction and a joy to read.
I love the presentation, Perfect photo!
The rhyme pattern is effective at creating a fun and
bouncy tempo.

Jessi, to forget you would have made the poem incomplete! You have been one of the sweetest friends I have here and in fact you were one of the first people I had on my list. I know I had to have forgotten a few as these were mainly the people that I have come closest to, but I know there are more. And when I find them, I may have to add another verse just for them. So my girl who could pass any inspection (best compliment in the poem)
I thank you for your prayers and hopefully will be going home soon. At least it has given me more time to write. Thanks again my sweet friend!

Thanks so much Joan. The words were heart, splash, float, beauty and gleam. However I ended up dropping a few of them when I decided not to enter this in the contest. Instead I wrote another comical poem for the contest. And I hope you enjoyed yourself at the virtual party, but yes it would be wonderful to meet with our favorites like I included here.And others that I'm sure I missed. (Like many of the men). Thanks my dear friend for your very kind comments!

Oh Verna, you are so one of my favorites! It definitely was silly, but reading it back actually put a feeling of real gathering w you Wonderful friends! I had a ball, but I'm not sure about the thin part. I used to be thinner, but now that I'm older, things change a little, but not too badly.
My poem is the one above yours, called "The Louboutin Look." It is a picture of very high heels!!!

LOL, you're stepping out on our party!! Cute shoes, love the white ones. I will try to get in and review. I don't review much because my eyes had shingles in them a few years back and my ipad only makes them worse, so I usually save them for my own work. However it doesn't mean I don't love reviewing. But I can't wait to review yours. I will see you later at your place for a change! 😘

Thanks for sharing, Debi. They are stunning shoes. Sounds like a good plan. Do you have a control key on your ipad? If so, you can use that and the plus key to make the words as large as you want. Just use the minus to reduce it.
