nice haiku about a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly once they are adults. I love butterflies and the morphing of caterpillars into butterflies that occur every spring

Jake, thank you! As I was writing this, I couldn't help but ponder the thought about our human transformations from birth to death and how much we morph just like all of nature.

This is a marvelous and creative haiku. Your image of a Caterpillar to butterfly is planted in your reader's vision. A story in so few words.
It is perfection.
Best wishes

Thank you, Mary. For me, this is nature's example of how we humans are in a state of constant transition from birth to death.

'Metamorphose', is short, succinct and delightfully descriptive. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to read and review. Good luck with the contest. Please let me know how you get on?

Thank you, life is tossing up constant reminders of how we humans are in transition from birth to death. I am grateful for busy days and peaceful nights.

The first two line flow and connect well. The last line says it all as the
beauty of transition happens! I enjoyed the read of these words. I love
butterflies and this poem painted a great picture! The artwork is awesome and compliments these words.

This was a great haiku. You got the syllable count right, and you painted the picture in the reader's mind. This was a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing this here, and best wishes to you.

How desirable it must be, to change from the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan, the creeping caterpillar into the graceful butterfly, the unsteady fawn that becomes the graceful and sleek but stalwart darting deer.

This is a delightful haiku with the perfect illustration. The meaning is clear, but I could not help but think of being carried to the grave as we are attaining our wings. Good luck in the contest!

This is a great poem. You have told a story in only a few words. You painted a mental image vividly. I enjoyed reading how the body changes over time. Have a great day.

Thanks much! I was reflecting on the parallel of humanity and how we are ever in transition from birth to death and how very much like nature we are in a state of constant morphing.
Your six is quite humbling, thank you 🙏🙏

Metamorphosis has always fascinating ated me - nature created a perfect metaphor for coming of age or just for reaching a level of self-understanding. This is a beautiful haiku - I very much enjoyed it.

metamorphose - For me this is a reminder that that as humans we are in a constant stage of morphing, from birth to death just as all of nature is also doing daily. Thanks for your validation.

Wow, in just a few words you have described a major transition of life. And that picture is perfect. Well done - this should do well in this contest.

Pam, thank you! Just as our subjective humanness is in transition from birth to death, nature shows us the beauty and mystery of life.
