I think that this wonderful free verse poem, is incredibly descriptive and makes me long for summer. I can see the water, the sun and sand, and feel it as well. Thank you for sharing. :)

Lovely poem depicting scenes outdoor in nature and the different moods of the sun. I enjoyed your poem and the hues and glows of the sun.
-I especially liked the image of the sun as it does it's daily climb upward, casting soft pinks and muted reds.

How beautiful. The imagery is lovely, vivid and lyrical. Love the thought of the sun doing its daily climb while the boy and the dog bond with a frisbee. The scene is peaceful. Filled with gentleness and light. Lovely one.

You are probably not going to win me over to free verse, but you do seem to have a knack for it. Very nice descriptive phrases. Believe it or not, I like the bright sun shiny days of autumn best.

I really enjoyed reading this poem. The imagery is carefully crafted and the use of colours and sounds are very evocative. The last stanza is particularly powerful with its use of the word, 'teasing'. Thanks for sharing.
