Ha, ha. You've got that right. Kids are usually messy and noisy. You've depicted this well. Congratulations for placing in the contest. Great job. Marilyn

Thanks Marilyn, and you are right about the boys. The girls get that way when they hit their teen years ;) I just keep pecking away at this alphabet thing and pretty soon . . . - Wendy

What a wonderfully rhymed and written poem. Everything about it, especially the wonderful words used,is just so cute and perfect for a child's reading and listening.

Thanks for the kind words LoannaLois. I changed Shhhh to the real title, Karli Kenol, since the contest has ended, I didn't want the folks who have been reading the other book chapters to guess it was mine. I am glad you liked it. - Wendy

This is a delightful poem about a noisy child. I definitely think it will appeal to young MALE readers who will see themselves as Karli Kenol. I especially like your many examples of how/why he is noisy and your occasional use of onomatopoeia.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Yes all that wonderful, youthful energy and curiousity properly celebrated here with lots of 'buzzing, booming, howls and hoots'- a fun read with a great visual
