well, you're right - not a Hollywood kind of romance. More of a hard life, hard working family with a tough man of few words, losing touch with his son, and instead of reasonably talking it through, gets upset and leaves. However, most every time and every situation when a member of a family gets hurt, arguments and anger are gone by the wayside and love and caring win out. And as you said, that's what counts.

I really enjoyed your story. The way you captured the emotions of the family was so real. I felt like I could sense the tension between Ralph and Scott and the love that was still there. I also loved the way you used the changing sky to show the shift in mood. You did a great job of keeping me hooked with the ups and downs. Keep up the amazing work!
