I like lavender too and you did a wonderful job presenting what you love about lavender. Your whole presentation is colorful and very pretty. A reader will be encouraged to use lavender too, by your words. Alex

Wow! you have long list for lavender! I love the fragrance and I agree with all the points.I liked ,'distressed airs that ensnare joys' very much .The closing line too is great!

This was a inventive pick for writing about objects. I am unsure whether I ever have seen a piece beginning each line with a single letter. One suggestion, I leave is regarding line four. I think my should be removed for all the other lines are not first person.

I have to agree with your words. I've tried (the wife bought them) lavender scented candles. They do have a pleasant aroma and calms the nerves or so it seems. I've also had lavender flavored tea. That's great at night.

That's a nice entry for the object contest. I love the smell of lavender. I know a lot of people use different essential oils to help their bodies heal and calm down. I am too sensitive to strong smells so I am not able to enjoy a lot of cents. But this is very lovely.

Your poem really shared the almost magical effect of lavender. I love the way you describe its power to "loosen the distressed air" and "lift my capsized brain." It's so descriptive. I could almost smell the lavender as I read. Your poem has such a soothing flow to it. Wonderful job!

    It is. White lavender, red lavender, lavender oil, lavender scented detergents ... it just calms me right down. I usually don't leave home without a phial. Thanks for your kind review.
