What an uplifting post, Dan! I was thinking I might have missed something you posted so I checked and had to go back to last year to review this one. Your post reminded me of how God chose Moses for the daunting leadership task. But you're right He chose us to do our part in our small sphere of influence because He made us unique and able to do the tasks He designed us to do. (Eph 2:10) "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Yep, you're absolutely correct, not exactly a concept a finite being can grasp, but nevertheless something, somewhere, knows this is true, and when I say God loves me with an everlasting love for me to enjoy...it is true, true, and truth. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

I suggest a rewrite regarding the following:
'In eternity past, millions of years before the earth was created...'
There is no time in eternity. There is no beginning and no end, just as there is no beginning or end to omniscient, uncreated God.
God and eternity exist in fullness without time. One could say it is always present for God. Placing a mile marker before creation would be incorrect. There were no years before creation.
Other than that observation, your piece is right on and a true blessing.
