This poem sets a mood with few words. Very well done. Getting up early was my nemesis when I was still working, especially in Winter. I wish you success in the contest.

Hello,
-I love the imagery in your poem of how nature takes its cue, on the ring of a bell, and unfolds into a new day.
-I love the way you have cast this poem, staged and scripted all the players.
-Short and sweet poem.
-Every last word in your poem seems to call on a prop or part of nature to play out a role in a production: blares (sound), shade (lighting); sky (performer); peeks (and camera, and, action), etc.
-This is fantastic.
-Have a nice evening.

I love it. Descriptive, not ethereal. It's short, sweet, not wasting any words.
I enjoyed the reality of getting up early in the morning--most people do that. Reveling in the dawn, even for a short time is worth it.

Well done on this short poem, nice picture you have chosen. Must be hard getting up this early, but I am glad you have found something to enjoy about it. This is the day that the Lord has made.

You painted a beautiful image with your 25 words. The picture that accompanies the piece is beautiful as well. Thank you for sharing this here. Keep up the good work.
