This is a fun start to your adventure, that sets the characters in place well. I was a little confused at the beginning as I thought the sea creatures were going to set out to destroy the childrens' fun, but soon realised they had other issues in mind.
It will appeal to young children, without a doubt.

Thank you so much, Katherine. Yes, there will be a lot happening when it comes to the children helping the poor whale with his tooth. I'm so peased you think it will appeal to children. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

It seems like a very cute poetic story that young children would enjoy.

notes:

I think you may want to switch the order of the second and third stanzas.

She called the shark[,]
the dolphin, too,

You are great with children's stories as well as novels. I wonder where you get all these delightful pictures. I would have loved finding rhymed books to read to my children when they were small.

Thank you for reading the first chapter in my new children's book, Beth. I get the pictures from Pixabay. They are free to use in whatever way you want, even commercially, which these will be. I also go into the 'Public Domain' site, they have a variety of pictures, photos, free to use. You'll have to check them out. Thanks again, my friend. Have a lovely week. :)) Sandra xxx

This is a lovely story for little kids. I was gripped by it immediately (which proves I must have entered my second childhood. What I know about whales could probably be written on a mackerel's fin, never mind about sharks, so I asked the sub-marine version of google and he came up with this child's guide. I thought it might come in useful. Find it at:

If you want a chat I am available on my patio now the sun has decided to shine again. Here's a six to get this one off to a good start.

Hi, Jim, thank you so much for the six stars to start me off! That was so nice of you. I took a look at that site, who'd have guessed some have no teeth! Mine has! Lol. It's hard to find a cartoon of a sad whale I can use for commercial use and for free. The one I have will have to stay. I didn't even know there were that ammount of different whales, a dolphin is considered a whale, too. It might be an idea if I add a few facts at the end of the book because it's so educational. Even the parents might learn a thing or two. I just have!! Thanks so much for this, my friend. I've just tried to get a hold of you, but you must be walking your dog. Chat later. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx
