I don't know what I did with my free time before April of this year when I became a member. Oh, I remember. My house was much cleaner, my husband had delicious meals (not just something threw together), I got better sleep, and I concentrated better (not thinking of words 24/7). So, yes, I can relate to your entry here and I so enjoyed reading it. Good luck in the contest.

Good thing I don't still have a family or they would probably be doing an intervention. lol. Thanks for the great review.

I had to laugh at this one. FS is horribly addictive and sleep-depriving! I could identify with the greatest of ease with what you have written here! An amusing entry to the contest!

This is writing about a promise to promise. Promising oneself that "One of these nights" I promise to...
Postponement is healthy if there are overriding considerations. Really, there comes a time when 11:00 p.m. is still early but that also depends on what time one woke up. Still not in bed by 2:00 A.M.? Looks like you are a night person after all.
Small glitches for correction:
1. "...whose beating me..." - change to WHO'S
2. 2nd paragraph - in this context, I think "burn out' should be one word; BURNOUT

I like the fun and the irony in this work. Darn! I have been there..." I knew I should have voted for myself." I hope this is one of those nights. Sweet dreams!

An old adage that we all suffer with from time to time.
When insomnia hits there is no guessing what might come out of our feeble minds under sleep deprivation.

Hi Dallas,
This is 'six star' funny! I love it. It's that magnetic pull that grabs us all the time!
And, really, who can resist that gorgeous face? Great story.
Good luck in the contest.

You speak for many of us, but I am also cross-addicted to Spades and Euchre. Due to the time difference between NA and Australia, there's always someone willing to play through the night. I'd like to ay LOL, but then again, it's pretty tragic.
