A beautiful prayer/poem for Sandra. I am new here and wish her well. Your words tell us much about you and how caring Fanstory community is. God bless.

Debi dear, thank you for sharing.
Dear Sandra, you are loved and missed! Helen started a prayer list yesterday and you are on it. The Lord answers prayer. Our lives are in His hands at all times.
The Lord gave me this scripture yesterday and I am claiming it for you today.
Psalm 121~
I will lift up my eyes to the hills--
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Dear Lord, lift my sister's head to see you. Fill her eyes with you! Our comforter, our healer, our peace, the way, the truth and the life. Grant her everything she has need of at this time. Send your angels to her bedside. Thank you, Lord!
Amen!
Love you both!!

Hi Debi,
Thanks for this rhyming call to prayer for Sandra. I didn't know she was so sick. Hope she gets well soon so she can get back to us and her writing.
This poem flows well and all rhymes feel unforced.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Absolutely. I recently rejoined FS after a six year absence. I remember reading Sandra's poetry before I left.
She is a gift to us all and I will most certainly keep her in my prayers and pray for the strength she will need on her own and from her family.
Thank you for writing this heart felt poem and sharing it with us.

John, due to shingles in the eyes a while back, I am not able to be on the computer as much at one time lately and will be having surgery on my eyes this Spring. That is why I am so late in responding and thanking you for your kind review. I do appreciate your awesome comments and six stars for Sandra's poem! Thank you so very much my dear friend.
