Your limerick made me laugh! It's so true bout New Year's though I prefer to call them 'goals'. Something to work towards than against, I suppose. A 'boring' year might not be a bad thing. The last few have been rather event-filled. Merry Christmas, Debi, and may all your 2023 resolutions be kept!

Hi Santha, you may be one of the smartest people in the world. It took me sixteen years of trying and never making it stick. Until 2020, who knew the pandemic was coming? I doubt I'd still be smoke free if I knew, but I made a promise to myself and still fighting the good fight. Hi Pam, so did your son tell you about the mess that we are getting here? Here we have 16 inches of fresh snow and the wind is supposed to pick up to 60th and another white out where we won't travel. At least where we are in with minus 20 temps without windchill. However, Sally says you guys are going to get below freezing temps. That is some big stuff for you too. You might as well just move here. Lol. Thanks but no thanks right?

Hahahaha, Ricky, I am with you 100% on the Biden thing. And add one more thing, I wish that he would have to admit to the world that he was in on Hunter's dirty dealings and everything with getting that one guy fired, (sorry can't think of the name) and also crooked dealings in China.

-Writer gets a playful mood going and sets the tone for all the build up and hype to Christmas, that seems to be a letdown...Unless...One digs in their heels, loads up on snacks and hunkerdown for whatever comes our way.
Lovely philosophy to: take everything in stride, with an added grain of salt. Loved it. Happy Holidays and all the best for 2023.
