Yes! I remember Alexis. It has been years. She opened a B&B didn't she? I was a big fan of hers and she always reviewed my work.
It seems I remember she quit FS to make that B&B happen. Well done, Sandra. Nancy:)

Yes, she did. She's back in Scotland now, but still has her French home, just can't get to it for a while with the covid restrictions. I think she might be coming back on here soon. Thanks for reading this part, my friend. How are your eyes? Just take care. Love and hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

I can't wait to see if they will be able to help the whale with his tooth problem or how the children will be able to breath under water. I always enjoy reading your children's books and this one is off to a great start.

I always enjoy your children's works, written so that even I can understand them. And, Robert Zimmerman's cube sixteen format is such a logical structure and creates a familiar melody of words. Thanks for sharing and always making me smile!

Sandra what a beautiful story! The moat reminded me of a funny story. When my daughter was around three or four, my husband was building a sandcastle with her. He was making a trench around it. This was their exchange:
"Dad, What are you doing?"
"I'm making a thing that goes around the castle."
"You mean a moat?" He was flabbergasted she knew what it was.
I can't wait to read more. I love all the illustrations you chose. Have a nice week! Hugs :) Sallz

We don't realise just how clever our children can be, do we? LOL, good for her.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, Sally, for reading and reviewing my new poem-story-colouring book!! LOL, that's a mouthful! I've got to sort the pictures out for colouring when I've finished writing it. I do have fun with these. Thanks, dear friend, for that golden star, I'm so pleased you enjoyed the start. Three parts to go. (or 4) xxx Warm hugs to you too. :)) Sandra xxx
ps. Is it going to be a sequel, or will you post another chapter? xx

I am lost for words, Sandra. When you offered to do a poem book for Poppy and Odi, I was so pleased, and having seen the first part, I'm blown away!
Thank you so much, my wonderful friend - I know my grandchildren will be over the moon when they see it.

How can I not give you a six Sandra. Brilliant dialogue and the artwork to accompany is so lovely. Another winner for you. My situation is unchanged - more visits to the hospital. I cross more than my fingers. Love Dorothy xxx

-Great artwork and
presentation, Sandra.
-Thanks for the notes
and doing a special book, too.
-A very good story in a poem
with good imagery and rhyme.
-I like the "castle fit for a prince."
-The mermaid is very perceptive,
but the shark and dolphin have doubts.
-But never fear, the mermaid will ask the queen!
-A good concluding verse with
the description of the sea.
-Nicely done with a new adventure.

Thank you so very much, Pam, for this amazing review. I wonder if you guessed where the idea came from?!! Lol. I wanted to write this for Alexis's grandchildren, they have been coming on Messenger and having a face chat with me, showing me how they have coloured the pictures. Poppy is the eldest, 6, and she started to read what she could to me. Odi starts school soon. It will be a surprise for them. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the first part. I'll have some fun with this story, there is so much I can do with it. I missed not having a poem from you today. I'm sure you start again soon. Thank you for that lovely golden star, my friend. That was really kind of you. Warm hugs and love, Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. No, I didn't guess where the idea came from-"The Little Mermaid?" Thanks for sharing about the children. I remember Alexis' writing and was sorry she didn't finish the piece she was working on unless she did, and didn't put it on here. It has been refreshing to just review and not have a lot of pressure. I will be back soon:)

LOL, the idea came from my painful tooth!! I get it out on Tuesday evening, thank goodness. Then I have to wait for it to heal before I can have one of those screw in types. Hm, that doesn't sound painless, either. No, I don't think she did finish that book. I'll have to mention it to her. xxxxx
-
You have been sounding pretty upbeat. I am glad you will be getting it taken care of. Are you getting an implant? I had several of those. It's not too bad, but takes a while to get all done. Make sure you get enough novacain!!!!
-
I will, my pain threshold is minus 100! :(
xx

That is at least my pain threshold!!!

Hi Sandra this is delightful, and I'm sure or even know that Poppy and Odi will be over the moon when they see this latest poetry book you are writing for them. It's such a great idea.
You are so good at this. Robert's form is perfect for this. I can't wait to see what will happen. I also loved the illustration. A big hug. Ulla xxxx
