This is soOOO creative and fun, Wendy. You are one talented lady! Now guess what you have me in the mood for? Yes, Greek food!
Many delightful aspects to this poem. I don't know where to start. "to stuff stuff inside", "sneaky pita", "smile on a stick", "scrunchupity face", "she places the olives on fingers and thumbs" ... all of these were very imaginative and creative and put a smile on the reader's face with the fun imagery you created.
Terrific alliteration throughout your poem, and good execution of enjambment. A cute photo too (until the art work is finished).
Your whole book is terrific! I so enjoyed it all. Well done, Wendy. ~ ~ Connie

Thank you Connie, I am thrilled by the sixer and appreciate your pointing out specific lines you liked. Nice to see someone picked up on the sneaky pita. - Wendy

A very well-written poem for your Children's poetry book. There is nothing better than talking about all our favorite foods and how tasty it is to eat. Don't worry about the dirty hands we lick them clean quickly.

Thanks for the review Sandra. I think all kids everywhere can relate to playing with their food and putting olives on their fingers in particular. - Wendy
