Nice tension there, and the spectre is certainly something nasty this way comes...

Interestingly I worked with a Diocesan Excorcist. He never discussed his experiences, but I gathered some were definitely hairy.

Hi, Patrick. The current pope is rushing to get more exorcists trained. Italy has more than any other Catholic country. I've read some fascinating biographies on the subject, and there are real dangers in doing the work for any long period of time. Not exactly a walk in the park.

Good chapter with some nice details,like the dog and the smells. I am familiar with the burning sage. It has a very distinctive odor and many Native Americans swear it works. Enjoyable read. Ray.
