I hope that whatever it was that got you down and blue has passed or from your own inner strength you are combating it away.
Your prayer and faith is the mightiest sword in these circumstances.
These are words on a screen but know in my heart of hearts I pray you are in a better place.

We all have bouts with depression; my mother used to say we had to have our share of cloudy days to appreciate the sunny ones. Prayer helps - for me, I will look around at others' circumstances; I am in a better place even on my worst day than most people on the planet.
I know this is a poem about how you go to God when you're down; I'm hoping you're currently in a good place. I appreciate your words here, and that image alone should put all of us in a brighter place. You find the best pictures to go with your work!

Hey Sis, I am still in amazement that my two sisters here were in first and second place and I got to be in the winners circle with them. So I am so proud to be there with two of my fav girls.

I love the scripture that says, 'Come to me Ye heavy laden and I will give you rest' that's the way to recognise that things aren't going as well as they should be and sort them out. This is a beautifully written rhyming poem dear Debi, a superb post, well done, blessings Roy

We all see the dark side sometimes. It is only natural to sometimes see clouds and rainfall when we wish there were sunny days.
It's best to turn to whoever helps us to achieve our most important selves. I hope you feel more positive soon. That way, you will spread positivity throughout the site.

A positive look at challenge. I think sometimes we can all feel down and it takes strength to admit that and ask for help. When the bright side comes back it is all the brighter.

Great poem, Debi! I especially liked the theme of prayer and "That's when I will dust off my heart." Jesus if our Lamp Who guides our steps and He is our Light of Truth and He will never leave us or forsake us, always hearing our prayers. The world is a dark place but we have His Light!
