This is so cute, Terry! You stitched together lots of funny vignettes to give us a bunch of laughs for the day! Thanks for cheering us up. My favorite was:
"How do I find all those wrong places?"
"Buddy, don't bother; even if you found them, you won't remember why you are there or how to get back."

Suggestions:
"Grandpa, How did that happen?" (how)

"Okay, GRANDMA!" (maybe: Okay. Hey, Grandma...!) So it is clear the speaker has changed addressee.

A fun and humorous set of anecdotes about the ageing process, many of which I can relate to. One certainly needs to keep a sense of humour as growing old is not for "sissies". Well written, very enjoyable read.

Some parts of this surpassed outstanding, to reach phenomenal. Maybe it's jut because I see the world through my own eyes, but also through those of my end-of-lifer. Daddy loved your words: "Grandpa, I am curious. What do old men think about?" He supposedly can't think now, but he plays charades, dances (upper body only), makes plans, and above all remembers love and passion. I loved the humour, I am constantly looking for sources of humour in my life, and the question that the money will run out... This is everyone's major fear here now. Kate xx

Kate, thank you so much for the lovely six stars. I am delighted you found the humor, at my age, that's about all I have left. Terry.

ROFL! Yes, sir, I'd say you know a few of these other people, because you got what they are thinking and saying pegged. Thanks for sharing this fun and entertaining read. I wish I had a six.

Your sense of humor comes through loud and clear in this post. It was just the right one for Tuesday afternoon -- I love it. It began with a smile and it ended with one. Life is good -.... -and so much better with a smile, if not on one's face, in one's heart. Thanks for writing a very pleasant 'smile'. Good job. ann

I think I would like to meet Mister Grandpa. He has a nice, wry sense of humour, without being rude or demeaning. You should definitely show some Grandpa versus Grandma scenes in your works to come :)

Joanna, Thank you for reading. This is all fiction. At past 76 I am plenty old enough, but my wife remarked one day, when we were in our forties, Dang, we forgot to have children. Terry.

Don't you just being old? When you are old and talking to your young grandchildren you can tell them all sorts of things, and they tend to believe you, until they get to the undefinable age of reason, (whenever that is) and realised they were gypped! Perhaps the funeral has already happened. Beautifully written Terry, great story, blessings Roy

Roy, thank you for reading. It is all fiction on my part. At least about the grandkids. But I do think you are right. Terry.

I couldn't help but laugh and smile as I read. The problem with this is most of this true and not a joke. That's really sad. Thank you for making my day. I'm turning off my computer now, so I get to go off smiling.
