This picture is lovely as the poem. The changing seasons waiting on spring. Standing in awe, watching the beautiful colors while the sky raises the curtain with sunshine. The great day of Easter around the corner, so children can dye their eggs to hide in the deep green grass once covered in snow. I enjoyed reading this great poem.

This is an excellent series of 5-7-5 poem for the contest
with wonderful imagery of spring flowers

I loved so many different things about this poem. I loved how the word 'Splashes' reappeared, like a ribbon tying the two halves of the poem together, and I liked the use of the word 'kaleidoscope' in this context, because that's exactly what the picture looks like... cascading colors and shapes. And finally, I loved the strong imagery, making the scene literally visible to the reader, even sans picture. SO well done, and I hope this wins a prize in the contest. I'd be surprised if it didn't. MM
