It rhymes! It scans! And you even got neatly over the X-blip that bedevils poets with this form. Very well done. I found it entertaining as well as clever and wish you luck in the contest

Well done with this form - not an easy task. And you talked about dragons. Two for one score. Not that I care much for conquering dragons, but I did like Pete the Magic Dragon.

I like how you bolded the first letter of each line, it demonstrates that you followed the prompt. Doing a line for all 26 letters is hard and makes it kind of choppy and doesn't flow well. Good luck in the contest.

Wow, great fantasy vocabulary and a rhyme scheme, too! Favorite lines are: Defiant and rebellious one..., His magic breathes into my soul...,Still he steadies me and I, him, and also Zephyrs always call, "Come, rider...Soar!!" Awe-inspiring choice of art, too! I would probably put a comma after "more" on the second to last line, and that's about all I could see to improve on. Definitely going to attract attention!
