Oh well written. I do think we manufacture our fears
Sometimes childhood irrationalities surface as fear. We have a kid in our preschool who is mortally afraid of band aids .its so real for him
Cool poem
Well penned and it certainly makes us think
God bless

Thanks, kiwijenny. I'm very glad it caused you to stop and think about it, if only for a moment.

Thanks for the review, Andrew, I really appreciate it. The poem is getting it's collective behind handed to it right now in the voting. So, I will take all of the luck that I can get, my friend!

Hello!
This is soooo dramatic, and soooo good! Love the artwork. It gives the finishing touch of fear as the words bounce off the page.
Truly enjoyed this six star story/poem! Good luck in the contest.
Cheers

Thanks, Jax, and I certainly wish more voters felt as strongly about it as you do. It's getting trounced in the competition! But, I'm glad that you liked it, at least. And by the looks of things...I'll need all the luck that I can get!

I had to read this entry more than once to make sure I got what you were intending, & I believe I did. There's so much to point out when it's someone else but when we're viewing ourselves, there's so much we miss - on purpose! What if we were HONEST with ourselves, what would we think we needed to hide, if anything? Just a pondering question that came up during my reading of your very poignant poem. Good luck!

I'd say you did a fine job of interpretation of my poem, Chocolate Chip. I very glad that it caused you to think, to ponder for just a moment. I appreciate your insightful, spot-on review.
