Thank you so very much, Kausar_Javeria, I have been writing about Timmy and Tommy for some time now, but have had a long break. This one came about because of Corrina's illustration. Now we know how the story started, (me too!!) xsx Sandra

What a cute story of Timmy and Tommy Mouse! His parents are so much in love, the way it's supposed to be, but sadly isn't very often these days. Thanks for something upbeat and fun after the depressing stuff I've been reading here. :)

Thanks, Phyllis. I had to get back to doing some happy poetry, mine has been pretty depressing, I know. Timmy and Tommy are the perfect way to lighten my load. You had better have something now for me to read!! :)Sandra

Sorry, but won't start the new book till next week sometime. I have to take time to help someone with editing and getting a book up to amazon in kindle format. Have put it off while finishing my book. Now I have some time. But I'll be around. :)

That's fine, we all need to let our brains rest now and again. Enjoy the break, I know it's still work, but a change is as good as a rest, I'm told! xxx

Hi Sandra

So sorry I've been neglecting you. Takes this beautiful bright red presentation to catch my attention. :) Your rhyme and meter always amazes me as much as meter confuses me to write it. I am getting much better ... though I can always recognise when it is done so well.... and yours is one of the best. This is a delight to read both for adults and children. I always find this important in children's books, after all adults have to read these poems or stories over and over. LOL This poem is entertaining, delightful, so charming. A great poetic intro to your book. Sure to be popular! An abundance of well considered alliteration, assonance and consonance all adding to the melody and tone of your work. I have enjoyed very much. Corrina's Creations - so cute illustration. I hope you are well. Hugs - Lovi xoxox

You haven't been neglecting me, Lovi, I haven't been on here as much lately due to my mum's illness and subsequent death. I am now trying to get my head together and do some happier poems, the last few have been rather depressing! Thank you for your lovely review, Lovi, it means a lot to me. As for the rhyme and meter, have no idea what 'meter' is, let alone, 'alliteration, assonance and consonance' going to look them up now! LOL, I just write, but I have to admit, I feel guilty when people say I am good at those things, especially when they go to classes to learn them. But I will have a look now, and see what you mean. Lots of love, xsx sandra

Hi, Sandra.
What a lovely children's poem. This is written in such a wonderful style for kids. The words flow together almost like a sing-song style. Sorry, I am not a poet, but do enjoy your words so much. You've created such a beautiful story of family that is so identifiable for kids. Well done.
Bye
Rosalyne :)

Just as long as they are not living between my walls! Seriously though, a sweet kid's poem with impeccable rhythm and rhyme. For a mouse to carry a sunflower- now that is love.

LOL, Thank you so very much!! Monty and Molly live on to have lots of fun with Timmy and Tommy growing up, I had to give it a beginning, and the illustration did it for me. If there were mice in my walls, I'd move! LOL. xsx Sandra

Sandra, this exceptional story needs a 6. Your ability and talent to compose a fictional scheme that is such a warm and fun read is far and above others on this site. It takes more then just words to create stories like you write. It takes an enormous imagination to create characters that are so lovable in a story that is also lovable for children to read and believe in.

I am so happy that you wrote and posted this for us to read. Thank you my friend. Love you muchly,,,,,,Jim xoxo

Excellent presentation to compliment your story/poem. This is a wonderful poem for children and a good introduction for readers that have not read your stories. A sweet edition to our children's poetry. Hugs XX

Hi Kay, thank you so much my dear friend. I am struggling to write at the moment but thought this was a good way to make a start. And they are cheerful poems, not like the sad ones I have written in the past few months. I am going to make a real effort now. How are you? Thank you for the big 6! you are, and always will be a special friend. xsx sandra

Greetings my friend, When you start at the very beginning, a very good place to start - remember the song by Julie Andrews? I am OK. Are the flooding rains affecting you. I watched Escape to the Country and saw a lot of the land around where you live. Hugs XX K.

Awww, that's so sweet. Those two little baby mice did turn out to be a lot of fun, didn't they? I liked the part where Monty showed up with the big sunflower. What better for a mouse? They love sunflower seeds.

When I saw the illustration, Corrina had done, I put these words to it, and she gave me the illustration. She actually did them all in my first book. Well, now we all know how Timmy and Tommy got here!! LOL, thank you so much, Cindy, I am really pleased you enjoyed it. xsx Sandra

'Monty and Molly Fall in Love.' What a lovely little poem you have crafted here. This could be called the mouse valentine's theme. Well done.

"Timmy and Tommy Mouse!" Daddy Mouse said,
while lovingly tucking them both into bed.
And Mummy Mouse smiled as she looked at each one,
knowing already they'd both be such fun.
But for now they were babies and needed their sleep,
and the fun and excitement would all have to keep.

Oh thisis so cute. Sandra you really have a winner here girl. Please please do something with it.
