What a lovely scene you have written here and I love your description of this little humming bird.Your story is well written and has good images of nature.I would recommend this to others.Blessings Rita

That was stunning.

You built the imagery of the invisible lives hidden by the leaves, but none the less involved in their own life dramas. Spectacular imagery.

I might think about changing from '''faded bloom to faded bloom..to...fom faded blossom to withered bloom just to avoid the repetition, but I either way it's beautiful.

    Yes'm a Canadian...lol....I take omfort in the fact that thousands of miles seperate me from the zealots and quite frankly I don't think they're passionate enough to try to track me down. GWB was a buffoon!People used to send me aticles because I rewarded them with a full fledged rant.

Beautiful little tale, my friend. I really like how you've delved into this smaller world and made it seem so big. Very easy to picture the characters, especially the grumpy mantis!

    Sadly, there are no hummingbirds here in NZ :( I'll have to look up a nature program on them! I'm not the greatest lately but ah that's life aye? I'm sorry to hear you are still experiencing the same issues - Wish you were here!!
