A really excellent story an written very well. I guess the cruel words
from others would be extremely hard for one to ignore. A person's
sexuality should be accepted in the world and no stigma felt.
Your writing will help you heaps.

This is far beyond a six (which I do not have), but I can tell you through my words. Well written, with such honesty and depth it takes ones breath away. I am stirred and emotionally drained from reading your story. I am awed that you would share these personal events in your life, and I am saying thank you God for saying those five simple words you your child. God does speak to us, we are just not always tuned in. He spoke to you in a lowest moment of your life because he knew you were ready to listen.
This has been written from your heart, and it has truly touched my heart. I feel such joy and pride in how far you have come and for what you have achieved. I will never forget this story and you sharing how your faith as helped you become a caring, giving and productive person. Thank you.

My sister remembers - felt like it should be My sister remembered.
However, suffice to say(,)
agonizing terrible death- I might suggest omitting terrible ;agonizing seems to cover it quite well.
Exceptional work. I could envision your story as a non-fiction novel. It would be a book offering hope to others who suffer from depression, alcoholism and drug abuse.

Where are my sixes? Hey Al, I love your story. It is painful to hear the honesty with which you bared your soul. It is a great story that can encourage anyone who is depressed to try listening to the voice of God sometinmes. Great plot! You started with the exercise machine and came full circle in the end.

I had similar event, but it began with my asking Jesus into my life. Oh my now I'm giving my testimony. Again thank you for sharing, it's a story that needs to be read, heard and told.
